In addition to the CFA South Africa’s CFA education initiatives (CFA review courses and CFA Introductory Workshops), CFA South Africa also offers CFA South Africa members an array of continuing education programmes each year.

CFA South Africa hosts regular live speaker presentations and Webcasts over breakfast at the Johannesburg Country Club, or at the JSE Securities Exchange and at central venues in Cape Town, covering pertinent international financial topics.

The CFA Webcasts are high level - aimed at qualified CFA’s – and are typically presented by leading international speakers.

CFA South Africa performs a regular review the CFA International speaker database to identify presentations relevant to the South African financial environment.

Presentations typically last approximately 1 hour, and provide an opportunity for interaction and networking between CFA South Africa members and others in the South African financial community.

These presentations (as well as the accompanying breakfast or coffee) are usually offered free of charge to CFA South Africa members, and members are usually provided a copy of the presentation on request.
